About Nichole
I am a communication professional with a varied background. I have spent the last decade teaching communication, media and cultural studies at the university level and working in academic administrative roles that put my training in strategic communication to good use as I focused on culture, belonging, equity, and diversity topics. I have led a variety of social media initiatives, managed events, and spearheaded marketing and fundraising for several programs and departments during my time working at my current university. I also advise my university's student-run public relations agency, which takes on everything from social media plans, to event management, to website content development, to video production, and more. Prior to my time in academia, I worked for a decade as a marketing communication and public relations professional doing a range of strategic communication work. I performed an incredibly wide array of duties during this time, but my focus was on writing/editing and event management, for both non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses. I invite you to learn more by visiting my LinkedIn profile page.
I am passionate about helping people and organizations find their voices and connect with one another. I invite you to contact me if you would like to discuss having me work for your organization or for your as an individual on a freelance or contract basis. I am especially passionate about helping small businesses and nonprofits thrive in their communication outreach endeavors and assisting individuals with editing projects of all kinds.
